The pools
liveeasybtx.com/api/network · pool endpoints Two pools, two different measurements. Byron Bay reports its rate in matmul hashes per second. BTX Pool reports inference episodes per second. Those are not the same unit, so they cannot be added, averaged or ranked against each other. Each pool is shown here against its own reported network figure, and this page never quotes a single network hashrate for BTX, because no such agreed figure exists.
minebtx is paused. pool.minebtx.com and explorer.minebtx.com now answer with HTTP 503 and a notice from the operator saying the pool is paused while the v4 changes are worked out, and that miner balances are safe and preserved. That is their statement, not ours, and we cannot verify balances. This page no longer reads either host. Byron Bay is the default pool in easyBTX on every platform. Beyond that, this paragraph deliberately does not say which pools are up: pool state changes daily, and a sentence typed here goes stale faster than anyone edits it. On 10 September btx-pool.com answered with zero workers; on 11 September it had 53. The panels above read the live network census at
easybtx.com/api/nodes, which measures every reachable BTX node's own headers every half hour and places each pool on a chain by the block hashes it publishes. easyBTX reads the same feed and says on its own dashboard whether your pool is paying, paused, or not answering the census. Trust those, not this sentence.

easyBTX fleet figures are not published on this public page. The counts that used to sit here, an install count, a share of the pool and a top-miners table, were a June snapshot. They went stale, so they are gone rather than left standing to mislead. What is public and current is everything above: the chain, the nodes and the pools.
Current builds, and what changed in each, are on the update page and the changelog. Mac and Linux alternate minor versions, so a higher number on one platform does not mean it is newer than the other.

Every year shown is an estimate, not a schedule. The reward halves every 525,000 blocks, which is about 1.5 years at the 90 second target. Blocks have actually been landing faster than target so far, a lifetime average of roughly 66 to 81 seconds depending on the window, so real halvings will arrive earlier than the years above. Bitcoin halves about every 4 years.

Live vs snapshot. LIVE sections refresh every 60 seconds from easybtx.com/api/network, which is this same site. If that feed does not answer, every affected section falls back to a snapshot and says so, with the date and time it was taken. The first easyBTX mine (≈27 May, block 115,353) is the first block ever mined with easyBTX.
Some forks did interrupt mining. The four June forks (v0.31.0, v0.32.2, MatMul V3 at #130.5k and the #132k node upgrade) passed without a break. The next two did not. The MatMul v4.7 fork at block 185,000 on 10 Aug 2026 left Mac users unable to mine for nine days while the Metal solver was written, and the v0.33.3 difficulty floor at block 191,714 on 17 Aug 2026 wedged the network for hours until enough nodes upgraded. Mining to a pool means you do not have to run a node, it does not mean a fork cannot reach you.

The chain height is the highest tip of the heaviest chain the reachable nodes report, measured from their own block headers by the census behind easybtx.com/nodes (since 5 September 2026, when the explorer we used to quote sat on a minority chain for a day); chain parameters are fixed by the chain. Node counts come from the same crawler. Pool numbers come from each pool's own public endpoint. The browser reads all of it through easybtx.com/api/network on this origin, never third-party hosts directly. btxprice.com is third-party (not financial advice; BTX has no established market value).
