About easyBTX

easybtx.com is the home of a small set of BTX tools. easyBTX is the miner: one app for Mac, Windows, and Linux, with a self-custodial wallet built in. easyNode for BTX runs a full BTX node from an installer instead of a terminal. Node Guardian and Keeper are free companion tools for anyone running a node, one to tell you whether a stall is yours or the network's, one to serve signed block attestations from a small pruned node. And research is where we write up what we have actually measured about BTX, at length and with the workings shown.

There is no company behind easyBTX and no pitch. We built it because we think BTX, a quantum-resistant take on Bitcoin, is genuinely interesting, and because mining it, or running a node for it, should not take a terminal and a spare afternoon. These are tools we wanted to exist, shared in case you want them too.

People who were early to Bitcoin watched it grow over many years. BTX is very early. That is the part we find interesting, and it is the honest reason we spend time on this. It is our personal curiosity, not a prediction, and not a plan for anyone else.

Nothing here is financial advice. BTX has no public market today, and what you mine may never be worth anything. Treat it as a hobby: only spend the electricity and the time you are happy to spend for the fun of running a node and mining. Do your own research and make your own decisions.

easyBTX never takes custody of anything. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no deposits, and we never hold, move, or exchange anyone's funds. The miner creates its wallet on your machine and the keys stay there, so you can receive, send, and back it up yourself. If you would rather be paid elsewhere, set an external payout address and the pool pays that wallet directly. Guardian and Keeper never touch keys at all. easyNode ships its wallet switched off, and if you turn it on, the keys are made and kept on your machine and your own node answers for the balance.
